Knowledge is power; our ultimate goal is to help our clients make a difference with their products, services, and stories. Therefore, we do more than just the work for our clients. Taryn Gilligan
(She/her/hers) is a business developer, digital marketing strategist, and creative entrepreneur based in Boston, Massachusetts. Over the past ten years, Gilligan has gone from blogger to freelancer to CEO. Through this unorthodox career path, she has garnered a myriad of unconventional skills in writing and design that have allowed her to turn her passions and dynamic experience into a full-time career while helping others do the same. Gilligan works with creatives, nonprofits, and purpose-driven businesses, helping them craft compelling brand stories, execute memorable marketing campaigns, and develop sustainable business strategies that elicit long-term growth and advocate for the collective's highest good. She is also an abstract painter, activist, professor, and academic researcher doing interdisciplinary work in digital and visual rhetoric and the digital humanities. Gilligan's research areas and teaching focus include digital narratology, new media, multimodality, social justice, and empathy studies. Her research focuses specifically on the throughline between digital personal narratives, community formation, and transmedia sociopolitical movements. Gilligan strives to use her teaching, research, and professional background in digital marketing to help others harness their voice and stories to create agency, foster community, and raise collective consciousness.
