Gilligan is a mixed media artist and abstract painter specializing in fluid acrylics, watercolor, and alcohol inks. Through her work, Gilligan explores the liminal space between the conscious and subconscious mind, the mind-body connection, and the inherent interconnectedness between our personal and collective experiences. Her paintings act as mirrors, inviting viewers to pause, project, and reflect. The ultimate goal of her work is to offer moments of presence and a safe space for others to get curious about their emotions and the expansiveness of their complex, internal worlds.

Gilligan has featured her work in various exhibitions, such as Red Sky Studios and the Bombay Saphire Artisan Series (in collaboration with Artsy). Gilligan offers both prints and commissions.
